Manish Rathod Spent three decades in media sales before Rs 400 Rubik’s cube at a Mumbai airport changed everything.
Entirely self-taught, he created 150 twisty puzzle designs and counting, from his living room in Ahmedabad. 99 are archived in Twisty Puzzle Museum. In 2025, his invention the Manish Hexacopter, is sold in 18 countries. His second design mass produced by Calvins Puzzles in 2026 and sold globally. His youtube channel “Manqube” crossed 1.4 million views.
He has been profiled by The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, Ahmedabad Mirror, Dainik Bhaskar and Doordarshan News Gujarati and receives the annual invitation to the New York Puzzle Party.
He started at 45 with no credentials, no map.
