4x4x4 Hexagonal Bipyramid Ghost

The 4x4x4 Hexagonal Bipyramid Ghost takes a familiar 4x4x4 Cube and transforms it into something that feels almost unrecognizable. This shape mod uses custom 3D-printed extension parts applied to a regular 4x4x4 cube, creating the distinctive form of a hexagonal bipyramid. The added geometry, combined with the ghosted layers, gives the puzzle a striking appearance and makes solving much more challenging.

As the layers are turned, the extended pieces shift the visual shape of the puzzle, making it difficult to rely on the usual colors and familiar cube patterns. Instead, solving requires careful attention to piece shapes, alignment, and position. It is a fascinating combination of 3D printing, shape modification, and traditional twisty-puzzle mechanics.
