3x5x7 Pillowed Cuboid

What happens when a regular 7x7x7 cube is transformed into an elongated, pillowed cuboid? The 3x5x7 Pillowed Cuboid explores this idea by combining bandaging with a distinctive rounded shape.

The project starts with a standard 7x7x7 cube, which is bandaged to create a 3x5x7 cuboid. But instead of keeping the usual flat faces and sharp edges, this version takes on a pillowed form, giving the puzzle a softer appearance and a different silhouette. The combination of its rectangular proportions and curved shape makes it stand out from a conventional cuboid.

What I find interesting about this modification is how two design changes can completely alter the character of a familiar puzzle. Bandaging changes the structure, while the pillowed shape gives the design its own visual identity. Together, they create an unusual variation for twisty puzzle enthusiasts who enjoy exploring creative shape modifications.
