4x4x4 Diamond Mirror Cube

The idea for the 4×4 Diamond Mirror started with a simple question: what could I create by combining a 4x4x4 cube mechanism with the visual concept of a mirror cube?

I wanted to move away from the traditional cubic shape and create something that would look completely different while still being based on a familiar 4×4 mechanism. I began experimenting with the geometry, trying to transform the cube into a more distinctive diamond-like form while keeping the internal mechanism functional.

The result was the 4x4X4 Diamond Mirror. Its unusual shape makes it immediately interesting, but the real character of the puzzle appears when you start turning it. Instead of relying on colors to recognize pieces, the changing shapes and reflections become part of the solving process.

For me, this puzzle represents exactly what I enjoy about puzzle design—taking a familiar mechanism, changing its form, and discovering something that feels completely new.
