Curvy Megaminx Octahedron

The first time you pick up the Curvy Megaminx Octahedron, it looks almost too unusual to be a puzzle. Its smooth, curved shape and fascinating geometry immediately make you wonder how it works. Once you make the first turn, however, the real challenge begins.

Unlike a traditional twisty puzzle, the Curvy Megaminx Octahedron requires you to think differently. Each move can change the arrangement of the pieces in unexpected ways, turning a simple-looking puzzle into a rewarding brain teaser.

This is my own version of the Curvy Megaminx Octahedron, created and added to my puzzle collection for others to explore and enjoy. At the time of writing, I am not aware of the original inventor or designer of the puzzle concept, so I do not want to make an unverified attribution. For me, this version is a way to appreciate and document the fascinating geometry, mechanism, and challenge of this unusual twisty puzzle.
