2x2x2 Pillowed Ghost Cube

What happens when you take the unusual geometry of a Ghost Cube and give it a soft, pillowed shape? That question inspired my version of the 2x2x2 Pillowed Ghost Cube, a shape modification that brings two distinctive puzzle concepts together.

The idea behind this puzzle is to explore a whole series of Ghost Cubes in a pillowed form, starting with the smallest version: a 2x2x2. Instead of the usual flat faces and familiar cube silhouette, the pillowed shape gives the puzzle a rounded appearance, while the ghosted layers make its structure and orientation less obvious.

Like other Ghost Cube variations, the challenge is not simply about turning the layers. Recognizing the correct alignment and understanding how the pieces relate to one another are part of the fun.

I am not the original inventor of the Ghost Cube concept. This is my own version, created as an exploration of what happens when Ghost Cube geometry meets a pillowed shape. It is the first step in a series I hope to develop further.
