The 2x4x6 Twisty Mirror Cube started with the idea of creating a cuboid that looked familiar at first glance but had something unusual about its shape. I wanted the corners to have a twisted, distorted appearance, giving the puzzle a more dynamic and unconventional look.
To build the puzzle, I used a 6x6x6 cube as the base mechanism and designed custom 3D printed extension pieces to transform its shape into the 2x4x6 form. The extensions allow the original mechanism to take on a completely different exterior while maintaining its twisting functionality.
I also incorporated a mirror mechanism, adding another layer of challenge to the puzzle. With the pieces differentiated by shape and size rather than traditional colors, solving becomes a much more interesting experience.
The result is the 2x4x6 Twisty Mirror Cube—a combination of a unique twisted-corner shape, 3D printed modification, and mirror-puzzle mechanics that makes this cuboid stand out from conventional twisty puzzles.
