3x3x2 Pillowed Mirror

Sometimes, a small change in shape can make a familiar puzzle feel completely new. The 3x3x2 Pillowed Mirror is my version of the classic 3x3x2 Cuboid, redesigned to combine a mirror-style appearance with a soft, pillowed shape.

The idea was to take the original cuboid mechanism and give it a different personality. With the help of 3D-printed extension parts, the puzzle is transformed into a distinctive shape modification that looks quite different from the standard rectangular cuboid. The mirror-style design adds another visual twist, while the pillowed form changes its overall silhouette and gives the puzzle a unique presence.

What I find interesting about this project is how the combination of a familiar mechanism and custom 3D-printed parts opens up new possibilities for puzzle design. It is a reminder that even a classic puzzle can inspire fresh ideas when you experiment with its shape and appearance.
