5x5x3 Fisher Pillowed Cube

What happens when you combine a bandaged cube, a Fisher-style axis modification, and a pillowed shape? The 5x5x3 Fisher Pillowed Cube is my take on bringing these different puzzle concepts together in one unusual design.

The project starts with a regular 5x5x5 cube, which is modified through bandaging to create a 5x5x3 cuboid shape. The Fisher-style axis adds another twist by changing the familiar alignment of the cube’s cuts, while the pillowed form gives the puzzle softer, curved contours instead of the usual flat surfaces.

Each modification contributes something different to the overall design. The bandaging changes the structure, the Fisher-style mechanism alters the visual orientation, and the pillowed shape gives the puzzle its distinctive appearance. Together, they create an interesting combination for anyone who enjoys exploring unconventional twisty puzzles.

I am not the original inventor of these puzzle concepts. This is my own version of the 5x5x3 Fisher Pillowed Cube, created as part of my ongoing exploration of shape modifications and creative puzzle combinations.
