6x6x6 AI Axis Cube

The 6x6x6 AI Axis Cube is the result of combining two different puzzle concepts into one unusual design. I started with a regular 6x6x6 cube and wanted to experiment with how its mechanism could be transformed into something that felt completely different from a conventional NxN puzzle.

The first idea was to bandage the 6x6x6 mechanism into an AI-inspired configuration, creating a more restricted and unusual movement system. I then combined this with an Axis-style shape and turning concept, using custom 3D printed extension pieces to transform the exterior and support the new design.

Bringing these two concepts together created a puzzle with a distinctive appearance and a very different solving experience. The combination of bandaged mechanisms, Axis-style geometry, and 3D printed modifications makes the 6x6x6 AI Axis Cube an interesting experiment in mechanical puzzle design.

It is a unique creation for collectors who enjoy complex shape modifications, unusual mechanisms, and experimental twisty puzzles.
