The Blade Skewb is a shape modification that takes the familiar Skewb mechanism and gives it a completely different geometric appearance. Instead of keeping the traditional cube shape, I wanted to explore what the Skewb would look and feel like when transformed into a more angular form.

For this design, I changed the exterior of the regular Skewb into a rhombohedron shape, creating a distinctive appearance with slanted faces and sharp geometric lines. The transformation makes the puzzle look more like a solid geometric object than a conventional twisty cube.

Although the underlying idea comes from the Skewb, the new shape changes the visual experience and makes the puzzle much more unusual to handle and solve. The Blade Skewb is a simple but striking example of how changing the geometry of a familiar mechanism can create an entirely new-looking puzzle.

It is a fun addition for shape-mod puzzle collectors, Skewb enthusiasts, and fans of unusual geometric puzzles.
