Manish Cubo-Copter Plus / Cuboctahedron Curvy Copter plus

When I designed the Manish Cubo-Copter Plus, I had one simple idea in mind: I wanted to create a puzzle that gave solvers the freedom to enjoy copter-style moves without worrying about pieces colliding.

While experimenting with the design, I became fascinated by the challenge of making the mechanism work smoothly. The geometry had to be carefully balanced so that the pieces could move around each other without getting in the way. This led me to develop what I consider the defining feature of the puzzle—a collision-free mechanism.

For me, the Manish Cubo-Copter Plus is not just another shape-mod puzzle. It is the result of experimenting, solving mechanical problems, and trying to turn an unusual idea into something that people could actually enjoy turning in their hands.
