Hexagonal Prism

Every twisty puzzle has a story, and sometimes that story continues through the hands of another creator. The Hexagonal Prism is my interpretation of the Pentagonal Prism, taking the original concept in a new geometric direction.

I am not the original inventor of this puzzle concept. Instead, this version represents my own exploration and realization of the design, inspired by the possibilities of the prism-shaped twisty puzzle.

With its distinctive hexagonal silhouette, the Hexagonal Prism introduces a 3-axis by 6-axis system, creating an interesting arrangement of rotational possibilities. The transition from five sides to six brings a different visual identity and a fresh mechanical perspective, inviting exploration of how geometry and movement come together.

For me, this project is part of a larger journey into custom twisty puzzle design, where existing ideas become opportunities to experiment, learn, and create new interpretations. The Hexagonal Prism is my contribution to that ongoing journey—a personal take on an intriguing puzzle concept.
