Octahedron Kilominx

The Octahedron Kilominx is another one of my experiments with transforming a classic twisty puzzle into something completely different. I wanted to explore what could be created by changing the outer shape while keeping the familiar Kilominx mechanism at its core.

This version is made using 3D-printed extension parts added to a classic Kilominx. The extensions transform the original puzzle into an unusual octahedron-shaped design, giving it a distinctive appearance and a very different character from the standard Kilominx.

I am not aware of the original inventor or designer of the Octahedron Kilominx concept, so I do not want to make an unverified attribution. This particular Octahedron Kilominx is my version, created as part of my personal experiments with 3D printing, puzzle modifications, and unconventional twisty-puzzle shapes. For me, projects like this are a way to explore how far a familiar puzzle can be transformed into something new.
